51lb Ulua Spot, Shot, & Kill story

Well Boyz......

Where do I begin.....a epic day at our secret spot "The Fish Factory"(Don't ask where). It was my self , Cool Hand Luke some of his friends and a new addition to the MSB crew getting his feet wet (now known as Music Man). Cool Hand Luke (CHL) and I were swimming over to a known Ulua hole taking our time when CHL points off in the distance and I turn and see a good size Ulua free swimming on the sea floor straight toward us!! CHL and I were on top of a large pinnacle and bolth of us dropped about 20ft as the Ulua cruised under the the ledge directly underneath us. CHL goes left and I swing right. The Ulua pops out right underneath me and I am lined up for a sweet shot. I take a few kicks and pull the trigger...hit him just behind his head and he takes off and almost rips the gun out of my hand. CHL was there with a sweet back up shot and we bagged a 51lb Ulua just 45min into the dive. Check out the video....a bit foggy but cool.

Lifesaver nailed a 7lb Uku he brought in by chumming a fat Roi out at about 60ft. I also lucked out again and scored a 8lb Uku.

Sooo the passing of the coveted Fish Bowl mask will Happen this weekend at Sepsis Cabin after our dive on Saturday....unless by some miracle one of the Boyz hauls in a better catch during our trip. You never know....
